left in overtime Saturday lifted the Philadelphia Flyers to a 3-2
win over the New Jersey Devils.
The center’s sixth goal gave the Flyers their first victory

It followed a brief interruption when a noxious substance

Martin Brodeur as he was falling to the ice.

tally.
Mike Knuble scored once. Both Vaananen and Braydon Coburn
had two assists.
Philadelphia goalie Martin Biron made 29 saves on 31 shots.

Gionta (power play), both in the second period.
Brodeur was beaten three times on 33 shots for the Devils,
who had won three straight prior to their two-game set with
Philadelphia.
