BUFFALO, N.Y., Oct. 27 (UPI) — Jason Spezza had two goals  
and an assist Monday to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 5-2 victory
over the Buffalo Sabres.

HAIKOU, China, Oct. 26 (UPI) — Helen Alfredsson’s  
final-round 7-under-par 65 gave her a three-shot win Sunday in the
Grand China Air LPGA tournament in Haikou, China.
Alfredsson was 12-under 204 for the event. She earned  
$270,000, moving up to No. 5 on the tour money list.

MILLINGTON, Tenn., Oct. 25 (UPI) — Carl Edwards kept his  
Nationwide Series title defense hopes alive Saturday by winning the
Kroger on Track for the Cure 250 at the Memphis Motorsports Park.
Edwards led 185 of 253 laps and held off David Reutimann in  
a green-white-checkered finish.
